dire times...

In every moment of everyday our lives are altered and changed. Sometimes for the better, some for the worse, some just altered. Discoveries of the mind shape our perspectives of the world around us. Enlightening moments can brighten or dim the light of our spirit. Our bodies slowly adapting to the situations around us change habits of metabolism, breathing, hear rate, and waste production.

And all this time we ask ourselves "why?". Why do we insist on existing in a world which consistently batters us? We ponder even as our minds our reeling from the roller coaster ride of life. Nausea and dizziness become to much so we vomit upon the earth and the people around us our troubles. Loving then lashing out. All the time seeking solace in an abstract thought of a "god" or some other saving grace which makes this life worth living. It is said by some to look to the skies for answers. Others say it is within ourselves. Some have forsaken any search of knowledge of the self. While some have found a far too concrete "answer" and wish to convert others to it by all means necessary.

Humans are naturally disposed to confuse themselves with contradicting theories. Perhaps we think too much, maybe too little. While we run in circles chasing our proverbial "tails" we never seek the most simple solution. The simplest solution and one that we can all fix within our own minds. We as solo beings may not be able to solve the seemingly massive problems that are in abundance during these modern times, but we can fix ourselves. If each of us were to take the time to ponder upon why we feel the way we do, the world in which we find no optimism may change before our eyes. Why does one feel blind hate towards others? How can jealousy be overcome?
What if we were to take responsibility for our actions that directly or indirectly affect others?

In the end all we have is each other. We, as humans, are part of the world on which we live. Is coexistence such a hard trait to foster. Must we always run this vicious circle which has cost us so many lives and so many hearts. I do not ask for anyone to change their whole lives. Only to look in the mirror and critique yourself the way you critique the world around you.

If questions are not formed...

then answers will never exist.

Do not do this for me, nor the government, nor the one you love. Do it for yourself.

you definitely need to get off your lazy ass and write more. You're one of the few people I actually enjoy to hear talk, or write in this case...
